Santa Maria di Leuca (Ionian & Adriatic Meeting Point)

 

  • Madonnina dei Due Mari

A symbolic dive to the underwater statue placed where the Ionian and Adriatic seas meet. This serene site lies around 15 meters deep, ideal for beginners and spiritual seekers.

 

  • Relitto di Torre Vado

The remnants of a sunken fishing boat surrounded by marine life offer a simple yet fascinating wreck dive in a safe and scenic environment.

 

  • Secca del Pisello (Check-dive required)

Characterized by vibrant tufts of red gorgonians, this deeper dive is for more experienced divers seeking dramatic visuals and rich biodiversity.

  • Capo d’Otranto

Porto Cesareo (Ionan Coast)

Porto Cesareo offers some of the most unique dives in Salento, combining natural beauty, historical relics, and exceptional marine biodiversity.

  • Il Camino

A scenic dive between 5 and 12 meters featuring an underwater cave and vibrant coralligenous formations. Ideal for beginners and photographers, thanks to the easy access and rich marine life.

  • I Giardini (–30 m)

A colorful dive site with flourishing gorgonians, sea fans, and encounters with rays, groupers, and moray eels. Perfect for those seeking biodiversity and vibrant underwater landscapes.

  • Relitto dello Junkers Ju 88 (–36 m)

One of the most unique wreck dives in the area: a German WWII bomber plane, still intact on the sandy seafloor. A powerful mix of history, mystery, and marine life, ideal for experienced divers and underwater photography.

  • Relitto del Neuralia (–33 m)

Dive into history with this WWII military supply ship. Though partially collapsed, the site teems with life, including schooling pelagic fish, lobsters, and colorful encrusting species.
